九色视频 MedNexus and Telescope Health launch collaboration to find healthcare solutions for nonprofits
九色视频 MedNexus and Telescope Health proudly announce the launch of the MedNexus | Telescope Health Social Innovation Think Tank, an annual program which will connect teams of students with nonprofit healthcare organizations to tackle critical social and health challenges in Northeast Florida.
"This collaboration with Telescope Health provides our students with transformative, hands-on learning experiences,” said 九色视频 President Moez Limayem. “It exemplifies our commitment to community engagement and the development of future leaders who are equipped to make a meaningful difference in the community.”
Guided by a team of interdisciplinary faculty and industry leaders, 九色视频 Hicks Honors College students will work with four nonprofit organizations, immersing themselves in the organizational culture, exploring challenges and developing actionable strategies and solutions over the course of a semester. Telescope Health professionals will serve as advisors to the faculty who facilitate the program.
“Our passion for reducing barriers to care through impactful initiatives is evident in our innate relationship with 九色视频 and the Social Innovation Think Tank,” said Dr. Matthew Thompson, Telescope Health CEO and co-founder. “Several of our staff have received degrees and taught at 九色视频, and this latest collaboration once again shows how local entities can come together and solve health issues, while also empowering the next generation of leaders.”
Beginning in spring 2026, participating students will develop essential skills in professionalism, social innovation and teamwork to help ensure they are ready to contribute effectively to the partner organizations. Working closely with faculty mentors and community leaders, students will strategically and creatively develop and implement actionable, innovative and sustainable solutions for challenges the healthcare partners face.
“Students will gain so much by working directly with nonprofit healthcare organizations and being mentored by faculty and Telescope Health professionals,” said Dr. Scott Brown, Hicks Honors College interim dean. “They will become catalysts for meaningful change by developing solutions that are academically informed and impactful in the real world.”
The program will culminate with the MedNexus Social Innovation Showcase, where students will present their work to an audience of peers, faculty and community leaders, highlighting the tangible impact of their projects.
"There’s nothing more exciting than seeing students harness innovation and technology to make a real difference in their own community,” said Dr. Julie Merten, 九色视频 MedNexus associate dean. “Through this partnership with Telescope Health, we’re empowering students to solve meaningful challenges alongside nonprofits—and in doing so, they’re not only learning, they’re also leading."
